Location: London
Hours: Full-time / Term-time only
Start Date: September but could also be asap

Are you passionate about education and the arts? Do you have a background or keen interest in media or performing arts? If so, we are excited to offer an opportunity for a Cover Supervisor to join our dynamic and creative client school.

About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining high-quality teaching and learning during staff absences. You’ll deliver pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects, with a particular focus on classes in media, drama, music, and other performing arts, as well as core subjects.
Your ability to engage and inspire students will ensure they continue to thrive academically and creatively in the absence of their regular teachers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise lessons and ensure students remain on task.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Support media and performing arts lessons and extracurricular activities.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that promotes creativity and self-expression.
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff about class performance.
About You:
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with the following qualities:
  • Experience or strong interest in media, performing arts, or related creative disciplines.
  • Previous experience working with young people (e.g., in a school, youth group, or arts setting).
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Confidence in managing groups of students.
  • A passion for supporting young people’s learning and creative development.
