Are you a Teacher who is looking for a new role this January?

If you are, we are pleased to be working with an ‘GOOD’ Primary School situated in the London/Kent Border in the Borough of Bexley who are looking to appoint a Year 2 Teacher starting January. The school caters for and works with students between EYFS and KS2. The school aims to create an environment where pupils ‘care, learn, aspire and succeed’

Also for the dog lover among you it is dog friendly school where they have introduced dog mentors and therapy dogs to enhance their nurturing and supportive environment.

As a Year 2 Primary School Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds and futures of our young students. This is a full-time/permanent position that offers competitive pay and benefits.

Duties:
- Create and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum in year 2
- Use effective teaching strategies to educate students in various subjects
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Manage student behaviour and maintain discipline in accordance with school policies
- Provide individualized attention and support to students with diverse learning needs
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and assignments
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student performance and progress
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
- QTS, ECT or PGCE Qualification
- Valid teaching certification/license
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics and behaviour
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching
