Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Secondary Music Teacher to join a vibrant school in London. This role is available on a long-term and daily supply basis, with the opportunity to start immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching music across Key Stage 3 and 4, fostering a love for music, and encouraging students to achieve their best.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and effective music lessons to secondary school students.
  • Plan, prepare, and evaluate lessons according to the curriculum.
  • Manage classroom behaviour to create a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the music department and other staff members.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents as required.
  • Participate in school events and extra-curricular activities related to music.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Passion for music and teaching.
  • Experience in teaching music at secondary level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a diverse classroom with confidence.
  • A positive and proactive attitude towards teaching.
