Position Overview:
The school are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Secondary Maths Teacher to inspire and educate students across a range of key stages. As a member of the experienced Maths team, you will deliver engaging lessons, support student development, and help foster a love for the subject. The ideal candidate will have a strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to making a difference in students' academic journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in Mathematics to students of varying abilities.
  • Develop and implement creative and effective teaching strategies.
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing timely feedback.
  • Prepare students for exams, supporting them in achieving their best possible results.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and improvement within the department.
  • Support and encourage students both academically and personally, helping them build confidence.
  • Maintain a positive, disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events.
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3/KS4, KS5).
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A passion for Maths and a commitment to helping students achieve their potential.
  • The ability to differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • A proactive, professional approach and a collaborative team player.
