Religious Studies Teacher – Hackney.
A secondary school in Hackney is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Religious Studies Teacher to join their Humanities department. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious educator to inspire and challenge students in a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for Religious Studies, with the ability to engage students across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially KS5. They should possess excellent subject knowledge, a commitment to academic excellence, and a creative approach to teaching. Strong communication skills and the ability to foster critical thinking and debate are essential.

Key Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • PGCE or equivalent qualification
  • A degree in Religious Studies, Philosophy, or a related field
  • at secondary level, including A-Level (desirable)
  • A passion for developing students’ analytical and ethical reasoning skills
  • Commitment to fostering a respectful and inquisitive classroom atmosphere
