A respected secondary school in Barnet is seeking to appoint a qualified and committed Maths Teacher to join its teaching staff from September 2025. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential to contribute to Key Stage 5 depending on experience and subject expertise.

Key Responsibilities:- Deliver well-structured and effective Mathematics lessons that meet the needs of a diverse student body
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the department’s curriculum and assessment practices
- Monitor pupil progress and provide timely feedback in line with school policies
- Take an active role in the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities and school events
The successful candidate will:- Hold PGCE/QTS (or equivalent) and a degree in Mathematics or a related subject
- Have experience teaching Maths at secondary level
- Demonstrate a secure understanding of the curriculum and assessment requirements
- Be committed to supporting pupils of all abilities to achieve strong outcomes
- Potentially offer a second teachable subject (e.g. Physics or Computer Science)
