Qualified teacher – East London/ Essex based.
Create education are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join an outstanding team. The school is an SEN school specialising in SEMH. The school takes a therapeutic approach to the student’s education. Their seamless approach means that therapists and teachers work as one. Their curriculum is ambitious and effective focusing on developing students socially, emotionally, and academically while providing them with the therapy that they need.
Joining the team as a teacher it is your responsibility to deliver high quality education and behaviour management for children with significant SEMH as well as associated SEN. It will require planning and teaching for all national curriculum subjects linking the children’s individual needs, progress plans and assessment of their learning and achievement. The teachers are the core to leading the school’s child centred ethos and of their wider multidisciplinary team of professionals.

Job description - Qualified teacher – East London/ Essex based.
· To motivate, engage and inspire children
· To manage behaviour in a positive way that aligns with the school’s ethos
· To ensure the learning environment is attractive, positive and uncluttered
· To plan and deliver lessons that fit students within the class
· To ensure learning and assessing and learning progress is up to date and monitored
· Be a role model to students
·
Person Specification- Qualified teacher – East London/ Essex based.
· Strong ability to work with children with SEMH
· Outstanding communication and organisational skills
· Strong academic skills to support teaching
· Attention to detail
· Passionate about making a difference
· A creative and imaginative thinker in relation to child centred teaching

Qualifications – qualified teacher – East London/ Essex based
· QTS and NQT / ECT Induction completion or equivalent teacher training currently leading to full QTS and subsequently NQT / ECT Induction (essential).
· At least a good first degree in a core subject (essential).
· A range of experience in delivering the primary curriculum or a secondary subject area to children with SEMH (essential).
