SEN Teaching Assistant –– Immediate Start - Sunbury-on-Thames

Are you looking to be part of a forward thinking and progressive school?

Create Education are currently looking for a dynamic and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic SEN school in Sunbury on Thames.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone that has a passion for inclusive education with strong vision and values, someone that would like to work in a school that is excellently resourced and fully committed to developing staff by helping them fulfil their teaching and learning potential.
This is a primary SLD school that teaches children from EYFS-KS2 with a wide range of additional needs. The school is fully kitted out with excellent facilities to support the pupils sensory needs, including various sensory rooms, soft play and a swimming pool.

SEN Teaching Assistant –– Immediate Start - Sunbury-on-Thames

They are looking for someone who:
  • Experience within SEN as either a teaching assistant or support worker
  • Strong understanding of autism, and how to adapt lessons to meet individual needs
  • Is dedicated, professional and passionately demonstrates their commitment to pupils and SEN techniques.
  • has the skills to work across different departments to help improve student performance;
  • is motivated and enthusiastic;
  • is resourceful and innovative;
  • actively want to develop their teaching qualities;
  • has first-rate communication and organisational skills;
  • has the potential to lead teams and develop staff.
You must;
  • Be comfortable with performing personal care
  • Be a team player and collaborate with all other class staff
  • Be confident in managing challenging behaviour
